Mozart's Requiem – A commissioned work by the Gothenburg Opera

The first dance performance on the main stage this season will be Mozart’s Requiem. The Göteborg Ballet combine with the orchestra, choir and soloists to perform this work. Eighteen dancers, four soloists, a chorus of forty-three and the full orchestra over the course of one hour offer this meeting of the unembellished with ruffled rococo.

We’ve naturally added more music by W.A. Mozart, as an intro of sorts to this catholic death-mass…
